Terms of Service

By using ServicesMonitor.net ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the monitors you configure: the hosts, URLs, ports, strings to match, alert contacts, etc. We assume you have permission to monitor those systems.

You must not use the Service to attack, overload, abuse, stress test, or otherwise interfere with systems you don't own or operate, or don't have explicit permission to test.

Our responsibility

We make a best effort to watch your services from multiple regions and alert you if they appear down. We do not guarantee zero downtime, zero false positives, or perfect delivery of alerts.

This is an early-stage service. It may change, break, or shut down. We'll act in good faith and try not to burn you.

Data and access

We keep historical uptime/latency data to show you status and trends. We keep contact info you provide so we can alert you.

We do not give third parties access to your internal targets or alert contacts unless required by law or to operate the service (for example, sending an email alert).

Liability

Outages cost money. We get that. But you accept that ServicesMonitor.net is provided “as-is,” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for lost revenue, lost data, or any downstream damage.

Termination

We can suspend or terminate access if you abuse the service, violate law, or hammer infrastructure you don't control. We'll try to contact you first unless it's urgent.
